SHOCKGASPHORROR / Natsukoi
'Natsukoi' by SID. <3 I love these guys. You can't tell just by watching their music vids, but they're so cute/sexy/OMGWTHLOLOLOLOL/あはーん/WHAT'DYOUDOTHATFOR?!/awwwwwwwwww all rolled into one.
Wow, I'm updating this blog. ._.; Kinda.
Eh.
Uh.
If you want to read more of my random ramblings, you can find me here at my LiveJournal or just stalk me on Facebook or on GTalk. :3 LJ is my life nooooow/has been my life for the past year~ Love LJ communities~
I realize that I've never actually used any Xanga emoticons before. o_o Hooray for my first and last usage of them.
And...I don't think I'll update this blog anymore. 8D I suppose it's a part of my life that I've already...gotten over? I dunno. I associate blogs with certain parts of my life, based on when I was active on it, etc. I'm not going to change my avatar to my latest fandom/whatever/update this blog, so I can look back to laugh and cringe at my younger, immature self when I have nothing to do on the intardnets. Not that I'm any mature now, but still.
=w= ISTP types of people really are able to get over things quickly, ne.
Oh, wut. I told myself I'd try to leave out my fangirling on this post and... -__-; -points at beginning of the post- Oh, whatever. I'll leave it there. >_>;
So.
Goodbye, Xanga. :3 Hello, LiveJournal and [insert other blog services].
-skips away-
EDIT: ... I went to edit this post, and I can't remember why. Oh yar. I remember now.

LONG SHOT PENNY
Song by MONKEY MAJIK, from their 2007 album, Sora wa maru de.
;w; I now have my own personal Lelouch, thanks to Miru~
(It's the one on the very far left. The stand and the figurine stand about 2" in total.)
He says, "Lelouch vi Britannia ga meijiru!" ("Lelouch vi Britannia commands you!"). When I finally had it assembled, I kept pressing the button like some OCD crack addict fangirl. @_______@
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME, CODE GEASS? ;____;

Continued Story
Song by (Kuroishi) Hitomi, used as an insert song for the final episode of Code Geass R2.
Three days. Three days since I watched the episode, and yet I'm still wallowing in despair.
ROLOLOLOLOLOLOL SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE WHO CARE - HIGHLIGHT THE TEXT ABOVE AND BELOW THE PICTURE.
I refuse to get into another LELOUCH IS ALIVE/DEAD debate since Sunrise played it real well. Well done, Sunrise. You probably left it so ambiguous that the producers and such didn't have an idea either.
Don't show me those obviously manipulated screencaps of that cart driver, I'm sick of them. D<
For those who can't read hiragana or katakana:
2nd panel
C.C.: Na, Lelouch? (Right, Lelouch?)
3rd panel
Lelouch: Sou da na. (That's right/yup.)
ROLOLOLOLOLOLOL NO MORE SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE WHO CARE
Why am I posting this here, anyway. My fangirling blog is my LJ. D: Oh, well. At least this place's been updated.

Mosaic Kakera
Song by SunSet Swish, and serves as the second ending song for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, season one. ;w;
Yush, so I went and got my learner's license/permit thingy yesterday. With 100% on the written test, of course. -nose in the air-
But the more important thing is that I finally got a graphics pad thing/tablet. 8'D Now I can scibble all I want on the computer. ;w;
>_> Using the stylus pen is so much more convenient than using the mouse. Too bad it doesn't have a scroll function, eh?

Kiss Me Good-Bye
Yes, I'm fully aware that I'm late in joining the Angela Aki fandom, okay. D:
So~ After my dear friend Lisa found me on Facebook (I'm ashamed that I didn't go searching for her first...), I decided to once again search up one of my old BFFs, Ashlee. .__. I was unsuccessful the first time 'cause I had no idea which one she was (she had no photo that I could see)...
But I was lucky today! O__O And she was online at the same time! Good timing, 'cause she was about to delete her Facebook. Phew! So I managed to get hold of her Bebo account and WLM/MSN e-mail address.
Man.
She's pregnant.
Twenty-two weeks pregnant, wow. With a baby girl!
But it's not like a total shock to me, though. I kind of...expected it, from the things she talked about when were were in elementary. (Elementary, for goodness sake.) But wow. Pregnant at seventeen years old. >__>;; It didn't come as much of a surprise to me either when I realized that she drunk. One of the good things about her getting pregnant is that she's stopped drinking (and doing drugs). Phew!
That...and I'm away from her influence now...
It's amazing to think just how much time has passed. Seven years since I last saw Ash. Nine years since Lisa and I last saw each other. O__O
Lisa and I used to such Pokemon freaks (you're my PikaCHU~). xD She still likes them, but wow. Our musical tastes are so different. O__o Back then, we never really used to care what we listened to (except maybe Westlife or Boyzone, but that was because boybands were the thing back then, and her older sister listened to them). But I suppose it's because of her environment (South Auckland - hahahaha) that she likes those bands/artists. -shrug-
Random ramblings~ Tra la la~

I'm Still Here (Jim's Theme)
Song by John Rzeznik from The Goo Goo Dolls, for the Disney movie, TREASURE PLANET. I love this song!
So I'm typing up programmes for the awards night/prize giving, and a bunch of other teacher-related things, and I come across the weirdest names.
What kind of messed up, snobby parent calls their daughter "Princess"? When I first came across that name, I thought it was only a snobby nickname that they were using, but no. It's their real first name. Also, "Queencess"? Just because there's enough girls called "Princess", they take it up to the next level, adding that extra 'cess' to make it fancy.
"Charles Darwin"? Science freaks. Do note that these are their first and second names.
"Mel Rose"? Someone's been watching too much 90's television.
"Sweet Desiree"? Wow. Just...wow. -shakes head- "Sweetie" would really be a nickname for them.
"Divine Grace". <__<...
"John Travolta"? Please, stop the torture. ;_______;
I just really hope that none of these kids ever migrate overseas. Save them all that embarrassment.

Now concerning the book Burned by Ellen Hopkins...
http://www.olathe.lib.ks.us/yablog/?p=47
Wendy:
"this book kind of…offended me?
maybe i’m the only one.
"it was well written, but I don’t believe it to reflect acuratley on mormon people. Most mormons are quite nice and wouldn’t handle the protaganists situation like the bishop in the book did. "
No, you're not the only one, Wendy. Ellen Hopkins is a Lutheran, so her knowledge and views on Mormonism would be/is incorrect and biased. I haven't read the book itself, but from what I've read online...the woman has been working with the wrong people for the research of her book. If she wants to know about Mormonism, talk to an active Mormon, not one that had a great-great-grandmother who left the Church and joined the Reformed Latter-day Saint Church, or some paranoid Mormon girl who is obviously uncomfortable about her own faith and where she stands that she needs weaponry to defend her from the Second Coming. She's living with her boyfriend? What does that say about her?
Good grief.
Would you go to a movie script writer if you wanted to know about dolphins and their feeding habits? Of course not. Would you ask a hydrophobic to go swimming with you? No, of course you don't.
Get your facts right, woman, writing about Mormons, no matter how "extremist" they are. Going to an anti-Mormonism website isn't counted as reliable information.
Oh, your book is a work of "fiction"? It may be fiction, but the 'sources' that you used are unreliable and biased, topped with a thick coating of opinion. Excuse me while I throw up.
What's this rubbish about one of her minor characters being a "perfect Mormon child"? Perfect my foot. No one is perfect. You can only try to be.
"Still, my personal feeling is that any religion that considers women "inferior" deserves a hard look."
Who said we treated or even considered women as "inferior"? Absolute rubbish. Men and women are created equally. When you were young and scared, who did you call out to, reach out for? YOUR MOMMA. D:< Who brought you into this world? YOUR MOMMA. Which piece on the chessboard is the most powerful piece? THE QUEEN.
"I worked with a great, great granddaughter of Joseph Smith (founder of the LDS church), who left the church in her early 20s because of concerns like Pattyn's."
WRONG AGAIN, WOMAN! The prophet Joseph Smith was not, I repeat, was not the "founder" of the LDS church; he only restored it to the earth in its full glory after the Apostasy. Thank. You. Very. Much.
Sure, it's normal to be personally questioning your religion, but writing a character with a different religion to your own and obtaining facts from the wrong sources is just plain...stupid and narrow-minded. Was she avoiding trying to ask the "fine Mormon families" about information because she knew what she was writing was not consistent with our beliefs and actions?
Sure, there are those that stray off and go on the wrong track, but this story is just too extreme. I know of someone who constantly lies and fabricates stories out of thin air, who's gone off sleeping with her boyfriend behind her parents' backs... If she doesn't change, she'll end up like this "Pattyn" girl in the book. Her dad probably knew about her sleeping with her UGLY boyfriend, which came to him as a big shock, which was the most likely cause of his heart attack.
Stephenie Meyer is a proud Latter-day Saint, and so am I. Any questions, ask me or refer to www.mormon.org, or www.lds.org.
I'm meant to be doing a typing job, but this topic has got me so fired up that I can't concentrate. D<
lakdfjasf!! asldfkja!!!
And now there are people who are judging us because of this book.
-stomps an imaginary copy of the book, before she realizes that she would do that to no book, no matter how anti-Mormonist it was-
About Me
-
>____O... ... ... ... ... ... Huh. xDD -looks at "age"- xDD I'm old!

GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT, WOMAN. And get them from reliable sources, too! DDD<
